The Democrats and Republicans pretty much swapped sides in the 50's/60's. All these conservative Southern Republicans would have been Democrats right up until the Civil Rights movement. At the time, the Republicans were the more liberal party. Which is why calling the Republicans the "Party of Lincoln" is disingenuous at best as the Republican party of today in no way resembles the Party of Lincoln
This is a disaster. Not because replay is great for homers, because it is. But it's horrible because it goes against everything baseball stands for, the human sport. It's full of mistakes, characters, judgement calls, that's baseball. What will this lead to? Replays for safe/out? Strike zones? Whatever happened to learning an umpire's zone and adjusting. Ugh. It's the beginning of the end of baseball as we know it.
It's always been the case. I knew guys in high school who were definitely on roids. (Our football team wasn't even that good either.) They didn't all get the rage, but there really is nothing good about what that stuff does to you and there shouldn't be any pressure to dope in order to stay competitive in high school sports. first college football game
Can you step back and look at this from the point of the creator for a second? Not all copyright holders are large corporations, in fact most are individuals struggling to make ends meet--be it photographers, authors, designers, film makers, musicians, etc. And most are already affected by the weakening of copyright laws. Every time there's a "victory for the people" such as this who think the fight is only against mega corporations like Viacom, the little guys rights get trampled as well.
Wii Wheel fail.
Agreed, but I think it was also due to the nature of the character itself. Joker is the perfect villian archetype... and he does not have to explain why. He just IS.
